LCP POOL INFORMATION
Facilities
The LCP pool facilities include a six lane, 25-yard lap pool and a diving area with two, one-meter boards. The pool was built in the
early 1960's, and its crystal clear water is the result of a unique diatomaceous earth filtering system that is second to none. A smaller
adjacent wading pool is available for children under six. The grounds surrounding the pool offer swings, a playscape, a play area and a
picnic area. In addition, a bathhouse is adjacent to the pool, with bathrooms for males and females equipped with showers (hot and
cold water), toilets, and room for changing clothes. The bathhouse also has a concession stand where snacks may be purchased.
Pool Season
The LCP pool is open from approximately Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day daily and open on weekends only for two
weeks after Labor Day. Look for email updates, or visit leafmoreclub.com, to learn about the current season's exact schedule.
Pool Parties During Regular Hours
The picnic area is available during pool hours at no cost to members. Reservations for parties, tables and grills can be made with the
Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4) or the head lifeguard. Hosts are responsible for payment of guest fees to the Pool
Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4) or head lifeguard at the time of the party.
Grills are available at no cost to members and must be cleaned and returned to the pool house thirty minutes before closing.
For parties of 26 people or more, hosts must complete a pool party request form one-week prior to the event. At least one additional
lifeguard is required at the cost of $16 per hour per lifeguard with a $40 per event minimum charge. (Note: Rates are subject to
change.) The number of lifeguards required is at the discretion of the Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4). Hosts are
responsible for payment of lifeguards and guest fees to the Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4) or head lifeguard at the
time of the party.
Pool Parties After Regular Hours
After hours parties when no alcohol is consumed, require a $35 pool rental fee and a $50 refundable security deposit payable to LCP
48 hours prior to the party. The lifeguard cost for after hours parties (without alcohol) is $16 per hour per lifeguard with a $40 per
event minimum charge.
For parties where alcohol is consumed, the pool rental fee is $75 with a $200 refundable security deposit payable to LCP 48 hours
prior to the party.
The number of lifeguards required is at the discretion of the Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4). Hosts are responsible for
payment of guest fees to the Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4) or head lifeguard at the time of the party. The security
deposit will be returned if the condition of the pool, surrounding grounds, furniture, and other equipment are not damaged in any way
and if all trash has been cleared away. Loud music and noise are not permitted past 10:30PM due to the nearness of neighbors' homes.
Please be respectful of them.
Pool Closings
Due to inclement weather or unforeseen accidents, the pool is occasionally closed. This decision is made by the Pool Chair (or his/her
designee listed on page 4) or head lifeguard.
On two or three Tuesday evenings in June and/or July, the pool closes at 3PM to prepare for Home Swim Meets, which are hosted by
the Dolphins. On occasions, the Pool may be closed on another weekday for a make-up swim meet.

POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. No swimming unless lifeguard is on duty.
2. All members must sign in upon entering the pool at the membership desk.
3. No drugs, firearms or other weapons are permitted on the premises.
4. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted within the fenced-in pool area, except during club sponsored events or authorized functions.
5. No child under 8 will be permitted in the pool area unless accompanied by a responsible person over 15 years of age.
6. Each child in the wading pool must be accompanied by a responsible person over 15 whom is responsible for the supervision and
safeguarding of the child.
7. No child over 6 will be permitted in the wading pool.
8. Regular diapers are not permitted in the wading pool or the main pool. All diaper-aged children or non-potty trained children must
wear plastic, sealed pants over swim diapers.
9. No child under 5 will be permitted in the main pool unless accompanied by a responsible person over 15 years of age.
10. No pets are allowed in the pool area.
11. Acts of vandalism will not be tolerated. Loss of membership of the responsible party and his or her family may result.
12. Swimwear will consist of recognized bathing suits only. Shorts and cutoff jeans are not allowed.
13. Food and beverages must be consumed outside the pool concrete apron.
14. Members are expected to clean up after themselves (use trash containers).
15. Dangerous play is not allowed in the pool area.
16. Only authorized persons are allowed in the concession stand.
17. Lifeguards have the responsibility of enforcing pool rules at all times. They have the authority to require those who do not obey
pool rules to leave.
18. Smoking is not permitted within the fenced-in pool area.
Guest Rules
1. Members must register and pay for their guests at the membership desk.
2. The guest fee is $2 per day, Monday-Friday, and $3 per day on weekends and holidays.
3. Members must accompany their guests and are responsible for the admissions charge.
4. Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests.
5. Any person residing within the Leafmore-Creek Park Area (as defined in the Bylaws) can not be a guest of a member unless their
family is on the waiting list to become a member and the person is 18 years of age or younger. This privilege may not be extended
to the same individual more than 3 times a month.
5. There is no fee for adult non-swimming guests. Guests in swimming attire will be charged admission.
7. Houseguests will be admitted without charge for up to 5 days when accompanied by a member. Houseguests are defined as visitors
whose home is beyond commuting distance and who are spending one or more nights in the member's home.
8. Grandchildren accompanied by their member grandparent will be admitted without charge. The parents of a member's
grandchildren may use the pool as guests upon payment of applicable guest fees.
Adult Swim
Adult Swim was established to provide time for lap swimming for many of our members who enjoy this particular form of
exercise. It was also designed to encourage children to take a break from the sun and water. The last 15 minutes of each
hour is designated as Adult Swim. Anyone over 16 years of age may swim laps at this time. Adults who may want to swim with a
small child (under 5 years old) during this quieter time may use a specially designated lane (when so designated).
Please be respectful to the lap swimmers; stay clear of their lap lanes! Anyone over 16 may use the deep end during this time.
Grill Policy
1. Grills are available at no cost to the members.
2. For reservations, contact the Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4) or head lifeguard.
3. Please clean and return the grille(s) to the bathhouse after use.
4. No other grills maybe used unless approved by the Pool Chair (or his/her designee listed on page 4).
5. No cooking after 8 PM on all days of operation.
