About the PoolAt Leafmore-Creek Park Club, pool season runs May through the end of September. We are planning for a May 23 opening pending the completion of construction. Summer hours begin after DeKalb County Schools are out. During the summer, the pool is open 7 days a week, from 10am until 9pm. After the first day of school, the pool will be open in the late afternoons and on weekends through the end of September. When you arriveAll club members should sign in with gate personnel upon arrival at the pool to verify membership. Guests are $3 each and should be paid upon entry. Guest FeesGuests are welcome at Leafmore Club. All guests, including sitters, nannies, family and friends, will be charged a $3 guest fee to enter the pool area. Unlimited nanny passes are available at the gate for $35. Discounted guest passes are also available for $25 for 10 visits. Pool Party ReservationsMembers can host pool parties during operating hours. Before completing a party reservation request, follow these steps: 1. Check the club calendar to find out when the pool is available. Please request a date and time that is available, as we make every effort not to schedule more than one party during a 3 to 4 hour time slot. 2. To make a reservation, members must submit a pool party reservation request. This form must be submitted no less than 7 business days before the requested event date, but it is strongly recommended that requests are submitted as early as 2 weeks prior to the event date. 3. Do not fill out a pool party reservation request form if you are expecting 10 or fewer non-member guests. Members should pay guest fees at the gate. 4. For every 20 people in the party, an additional lifeguard must be hired. Hiring and paying the lifeguard will be coordinated through the pool management company. The pavilion can be reserved for up to 3 hours, with party reservation. Adult Off-Hours Lap Swim ProgramLCP members age 18 and older can participate in the adult lap swim program. Swimmers swim at their own risk; lifeguards are not on duty. Lap swim is available during pool swim season, typically May through September. Lap swim hours: 6 am - 8:30 am daily 6 pm - 8:00 pm daily after Labor Day Members interested in participating in this program should read, complete and sign the Off Hours Swim Waiver. Forms should be signed and returned to the Program Coordinator to gain pool access. |
